  1. 1. They all got up, the ones who had no oil ask those who had oil for some. but the wise virgins said “no, go buy your own.” so they went and while they were gone the bridegroom came. he led the wise virgins. when the foolish virgins came back they could not get into the wedding.
    2. it says in verse 13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” so we need to keep watch because we do not know when Jesus is coming back. other wise we will be like the foolish virgins who are not ready, and not get into the kingdom of God!
    3. one thing we can do is to read the bible, and go to meeting/church so we can be ready when Jesus comes again.
    4. the meaning is that if we are not ready at all times, otherwise we will not get into the kingdom, force know not the day or hour when Jesus is coming back. so we must be ready.
    5. this parable teach us that the kingdom is going to be like a wedding feast and we do not know when it will be!
    6. they weren’t ready, because they were not ready and they did not care what they did before they went to the wedding.
    7. the way we prove to others that we want to go into the kingdom is that we pray, go to meeting, go to youth gatherings and Sunday school.
    8. the actives in life that could be important is your baptist, meeting or Sunday school.
    9. the wise virgins didn’t share there oil because it would mean they would not have enough for them selves.
    10. it is similar to the story in Isa 62: 4-5 because there is a bridegroom getting married to some one and the virgin being happy, when they went into the marriage feast.

  2. 1) The wise virgins got there candle/lamps out and waited, but the foolish virgins did not have any oil! so they asked the wise virgins for some more oil and the wise virgins said for them to go and buy there own oil, but when the foolish virgins came back they saw that the bride had already come so they missed out on the kingdom!
    2) Keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
    3) We can be ready by reading the bible and do godly stuff.
    4) Well we are the wise and foolish virgins and jesus is the bridegroom, we must be on our watch and stay in the truth, for if we do we will have a chance of getting into the kingdom and if we are the foolish virgins we won’t stay in the truth and we will go off doing our own stuff and when the jesus comes and set up his kingdom they will not be allowed to enter.
    5) Well it means that the kingdom is like a wedding we are the bride and jesus is the bridegroom and we must be on our watch then we will have eternal life.
    6) Because they thought that the kingdom and stuff was a waste of time and they would probably just prefer money and things like that instead.
    7) We read the bible and go to meeting, Sunday school, JFP, bible classes and bible camps and of course we must act and do what is right!
    8) Lots of stuff like birthday parties, JFP, Sunday school and a whole lot more.
    9) They didn’t share their oil because then the wise virgins wouldn’t have any left and they didn’t know how long it would take.
    10) It has a lot to do with weddings.

  3. 1. When the bridegroom came the foolish virgins were at the shops buying more oil, but the wise virgins got to enter into the party. The foolish virgins rushed back but the door to the party was closed they said to the man inside it is us the bridesmaids. But the man inside said “I do not lie I do not know you”

    2. Therefore keep watch because you do not know the day or the hour.

    3. Always be ready for when Jesus comes so we can enter his kingdom and live forever!

    4. The Virgins are like us Jesus is the bridegroom and the party is the kingdom the oil is Gods word and if we read it we will develop a character of kindness.

    5. The oil is called ‘the oil of gladness’
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

    6. They didn’t think it was valuable waiting for the most important person in the world, they had other things to do in life such as shopping going to parties having sleep overs ect they weren’t best friends with Jesus they had other people in life whom they liked more.

    7. By reading Gods word telling it to others so they might have the chance to enter into the kingdom to listening to God and developing a character of kindness

    8. Exams for school
    Baptism and weddings

    9. Beacause the oil represents Gods word which develops our character of kindness and it takes a life time to earn It.

  4. 1. Those who were ready with plenty of oil went into the feast to meet the bridegroom but those without, who had gone to the markets to buy more oil, couldn’t meet the bridegroom (Jesus) because they had gone to the shops.

If we don’t have enough faith in God and don’t always obey what what he tells us to do, we might not get into the kingdom. But those who have kept burning to whole way to the kingdom will get in.

    2. When he had finished speaking to his friends, Jesus said “So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return”.

    3. Keep burning for God until Jesus returns or we won’t get to meet him.

    4. We should keep obeying, praying, reading the bible (etc) until Jesus returns, otherwise if we worry too much about what we want and don’t worry about Jesus, Jesus won’t be a part of us anymore and we will never get into the kingdom.

    5. If we’re wise enough to pray, obey (etc) we will get into the kingdom, just like the virgins made it to the party, by having enough oil for the journey.

6.They probably had what they thought were more important things on their mind rather than worrying about how much oil they would need for the journey to come and see the bridegroom.

    7. By obeying everything he tells us, being like Jesus, praying (etc).

    8. Going away
    School tests
    Having people over

    9. They didn’t want to get locked out of the party as well as the others because they too, didn’t have enough oil. Plus, they wanted to meet the bridegroom (Jesus).

    10. The wise virgins had enough oil for the whole journey. The bridegroom in the parable rejoiced to meet them.

If we obey, pray, be like Jesus (etc) every day, and get to the kingdom, Jesus, also will rejoice to meet us, the bride.

  5. 1 the wise went in with the bride groom but the follish could not, because they had no oil

2 he said keep watch because you do not know the day or hour

3 fill our lamps with oil by reading the bible and praying, also keeping watch

4 it means when Jesus come be ready, no ecxuses are allowed and we must stay watchful because we do not know the time when he will com

6 because they thought they could waste their time and do their own thing, but we must give everything to God

7 by showing kindness and believing with all our heart that Jesus will come soon

8 because it was too late to change their ways

  6. What happened to the wise and foolish virgins when the cry was made, “Behold the bridegroom cometh”?
They couldn’t get in to the wedding because they were out buying oil.

When Jesus had finished speaking to the disciples what did he say we should do, in Matthew 25?
keep watch because we don’t know the hour when Jesus will return.

What can we do to be like the wise virgins when Jesus comes?
We should always have oil in our lamps meaning we are full of the word of god .

Explain the meaning of the parable of the wise and foolish virgins?
The foolish didn’t have the word of god in their lives.

How does this parable teach us about the Kingdom of God?
We always need to be ready and filled with the word of God ready for the kingdom.

  7. Mat 25v12, But he answered and said, Verily unto you, I know you not.

Watch therefore, for Ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh

  8. 1. The wise and the foolish virgins woke up.
    2. He said that we should be ready at any time because he could come at any time.
3.We can read the bible and understand his word.
Make sure that you are ready so when Jesus comes you can go in and not miss out.
4.That the kingdom can come at any moment.
5.They chose not to be ready so that when the Time came they were not ready.
6.By learning his word and getting baptised.
7.Getting baptised and trying to get into the kingdom.
8.There would not have been enough oil to go around.
9.It talks about the bride and the bride and the land of Israel being turned into the kingdom.

  9. 1 the wise virgins were ready to meet the bridegroom because they had oil in there lamps, the foolish virgins weren’t ready to meet the bridegroom because they had run out of oil.
2 25v13 jesus told his disciples to watch
3 we need to be ready we need to have faith and when the kingdom comes you have to be prepared like the wise virgins
4 your wise if you prepare by believing by reading gods word in the bible and you will be ready for the bridegroom
5 that when the kingdom comes and your not ready you won’t be in the kingdom
6 cause they were to busy will other things
    7 by following christ commandants
    8 marriage,exams and baptism
9 you can’t give anyone your belief you can’t give anyone your faith
10 the bridegroom rejoices over the bride
