Humility is such an important kingdom attitude, Jesus tells a parable to show how important this quality is in God’s children. A lot of people pretend to be humble by humble-bragging, and not being honest with their intentions. But humble bragging is really a way of letting our pride leak out.

Q2. What was the ‘actual’ treasure in both of these parables?

Q3. What’s the difference between the parable of the Hidden Treasure & The Pearl of Great Price?

Q4. What kind of things does Jesus want us to give up so that we can gain the kingdom?

Q5. Why do you think the traveler and the merchant sold all their belongings for this one little piece of treasure?

Q6. Using either e-Sword or https://www.biblegateway.com/, can you find out what Jesus teaches us about treasure on earth?

Q7. What is the lesson for us, of the Parable of the Hidden Treasure and the Parable of the Pearl of Great Price?
